Our licensed clinical aestheticians have over 15 years of skin care and plastic surgery experience. They provide a variety of innovative treatments for those patients interested in easing the signs of aging and environmental damage, but who aren’t ready for deeper procedures like laser rejuvenation or facelift.

Our BioMedic skin care line is complemented by the BioMedic MicroPeel, a light facial peel for environmental damage and the very fine lines of first stage aging. The BioMedic MicroPeel treats the surface of the skin with physical dermaplaning and high percentages of alphahydroxy acids. This triggers the skin to renew itself and release impacted debris from clogged pores. For a deeper skin peel physician strength MicroPeel Plus treats fine lines and smoothes the texture of the skin.

Physician’s Choice of Arizona (PCA) Peels are a combination of alpha hydroxy, salicylic and kojic acids. They are effective on all skin types and on the hands and chest too. The PCA Oxygenation Peel provides anti-oxidant therapy for your skin. It reduces free radical damage, which contributes to aging. And PCA’s Pumpkin Facial Peel exfoliates while it introduces vitamins, enzymes and nutrients into the skin. The Ultra Peel is good for all skin conditions, producing a lightening and tightening effect. It is especially effective for aging and sun damaged skin. The Ultra Peel Forte, a physician’s strength formula, softens fine lines and smoothes and tightens the skin.

We also offer Microdermabrasion, a light sanding of the skin with crystals. This treatment evens the skin tone and softens fine lines as well as fading hyperpigmentation. More dramatic results are seen when combining this treatment with Ultra Peel (PCA) treatments.

The Refinity Peel is a glycolic acid peel with an anti-irritant with medical strength results. This treats sun damage and fine lines. We recommend 6 monthly treatments and offer package pricing for these treatments.

All of these peels are enhanced by use the medical strength home products that we offer from BioMedic, Physician’s Choice of Arizone (PCA), N.V. Perricone, Obagi, Neova, Skin Medica, Epicuren, and Refinity. We also have a complete line of sunscreens for face and body as well as makeup from Aveda, Cinema Secrets, Jane Iredale, and Glo Mineral Cosmetics.

The advantages of these peels and microdermabrasion are that you generally can return to work and daily activities the same day and can apply makeup to even out any slight redness immediately. These peels are recommended to be performed in a series of 6 every 3-4 weeks. You will notice a striking improvement in the texture and tone of your skin.

Obagi Blue Peel Delivers Customized Skin Rejuvenation and Shorter Recovery

For a deeper treatment try Obagi Blue Peel. The Blue Peel is a multilayer process that corrects sun damage, blemishes, discoloration and reduces pore size. As a medium-depth peel, the Blue Peel achieves maximum results possible short of laser resurfacing, with a shorter recovery time.

Q. At 50 I am concerned about my crow’s feet and also by the years of sun damage that has affected my face. I am not ready for laser resurfacing but I would like to freshen up my face and reduce some of the early signs of aging that I see. What would you suggest?

A. Women want to stay ahead of the aging process but can’t always invest the time required for heavier peels or laser. We offer the medium-depth Obagi Blue Peel. Heavier peels require a 14-21 day recovery time. The Obagi Blue Peel requiers a 7 to 10 day recovery period. The Blue Peel uses trichloracetic acid (TCA) instead of the glycolic acid, and when combined with the Obagi skin care program patients see optimal results. By using slow-acting TCA, the Obagi Blue Peel enables the aesthetician to control the peel process and its depth, customizing the peel to correct wrinkles, acne scars or hyper-pigmentation (sun spots and brown spots). The Obagi Blue Peel is generally applied in a one to four layer process. The Obagi program is also ideal for preparing skin for laser resurfacing surgery. It can be used for your neck, chest, arms and hands as well as your face too!

Heavy crow’s feet lines are caused by active muscles around the eye. The best way to soften these lines is with BOTOX® which relaxes the muscle that causes the crows feet. This is usually done prior to performing peels for a softer, smoother result.
